<p>GELLETLIE Maureen Josephine (nèe Murtagh) of Hunter's Hotel, Newrath Bridge, Rathnew, Co Wicklow - June 24, 2010 aged 91 years, peacefully, at St Vincent's Hospital Dublin. Beloved wife of the late Cecil Gelletlie and dear sister of Susan Delahunt and the late Pat Murtagh; much loved mother of Joan, Helen, Ruth, Richard and Tom; remembered with love by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends. Funeral Mass today (Saturday) at 10 o'c in the Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Ashford, Co. Wicklow, followed by burial at Nun's Cross Churchyard, Killiskey, Ashford. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.May she rest in peace.</p>

<p>Sorry to recieve this sad news</p> <p>I will always be greatful for the wonderful time I had in Hunters doing a practice stay with Mrs. Gelletlie and family in 1984. It was a wonderful time, she was a strict teacher but I did learn a lot. It was one of the best times in my life. Thank you again and my love goes to all the family. <p>Delia to Maureen. From New York</p> <p>I am so sad that I wasn't in Ashford to honour the life of a woman I was proud to call a friend. Her strength of character and consummate hospitality will always be remembered by me. I had the good fortune to spend a week at Hunter's,recovering from surgery, last Christmas. Her standards of care and thoughtfulness knew no bounds. Among the countless memories of kindness over the years I shall guard the image of us sharing a bottle of Champagne together in my room, treated of course, by dear Maureen.
