Sympathy to family

Hi there i was sorry to hear of your sad loss with the death of Dermot I am from Kilmallock and my father who is 88 years old knew Dermot. He showed me a newspaper clipping where Dermot looked for contacts to people whom his father knew during the war of independence mY grandfathers name was SeanO Riordan whom Dermots father mentioned It is a pity I did not get to meet Dermot as I would love to have known what information his Dad had on my grandfather. In time to come whenhealing has returned to your family I would love to contact you and discuss some of the above Thanking you and thinking of you at this difficult time Kind regards Eamonnm. My e mail address is flyangler@eircom.net if you want to contact me

My Uncle Dermot

Though I am an atheist, I was confirmed Catholic and chose the name Dermot after my uncle, many years ago.

Dermot, a card player, fisherman and singer, once taught me all about the Mayfly. I will always remember that.
