McKENNA, Dion (Baltrasna House, Oldcastle, Co. Meath and formerly of Ballymoreagh, Dingle) - On the first anniversary of Dion's passing on January 7, 2009, his wife Maureen, his children Caoimhín, Deirdre, Denis, Brian, Ciarán, Eithne, Ciara and Conor together with the extended family will always remember with sincere appreciation those who sympathised and supported us. Thank you to all who visited the family home, travelled long distances and attended the funeral Mass. To all those who sent Mass Cards, flowers, letters of condolences and who telephoned, our sincere thanks. We remember with gratitude those friends and neighbours who assisted with funeral arrangements. The family would especially like to thank Rev. Fr. Ray Kelly, Rev Fr. John Hughes and the late Rev Fr. Eugene Conlon who concelebrated the Requiem Mass. To Dion's GP, Dr. William Hanly and his team for their excellent care over the years. As it would be impossible to thank everyone personally please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated in St. Brigid's Church, Oldcastle on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 11.30 a.m. "Solas na bhFlaitheas dá anam dílis"
