O'HALLORAN (St. Lawrence Road, Clontarf, Dublin 3) (formerly of Co. Clare and ex CIE) - August 14, 2010 (peacefully) in the tender care of the medical and nursing staff of the Mater Hospital. George, devoted husband of Pattie, loving father of Mairead and Seamus, brother of the late Jimmy and Michael; sadly missed by his daughter-in-law Eavan and granddaughter Ava, his sister Peggy Gleeson, his brother John and brother-in-law Sean, sisters-in-law Monica and Dilly, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral this (Tuesday) morning after 11 o'c Mass in St. Anthony's Church, Clontarf to Old Balgriffin Cemetery. No flowers by request.

Clare, First Anniversary, died August 14, 2010) - On the first anniversary of his death, Georges wife Patricia, Daughter Mairead, Son Seamus, daughter-in-Law Eavan, grandchildren Ava and Luke together with his sister and brother-in-law Peggy and Sean Gleeson and his brother and sister-in-Law John and Monica O'Halloran, would like to thank most sincerely those who helped and sympathised with then through the very difficult times. Thanks to those who attended the removal or funeral Mass, called to our home, sent flowers, Mass Cards, phoned and sent letters of sympathy. Your support has been a great comfort to us. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Mater Hospital for the care and kindness shown to George during his illness. Sincere thanks to his good friend Fr. Paddy Sheehan who celebrated the funeral Mass, to Fr. Cormac McIraith and Fr. Tommy McCarthy and sacristans from the Parish of St. Anthony's, Clontarf, to all the great neighbours, friends and relatives who supported and comforted us, we deeply appreciate everything you did. George was a very special person. We miss him and will always remember him. May he rest in peace.
