DRAKEFORD, Alfred (Bill) (Churchtown, Dublin) - April 3, 2008 (died peacefully), at home, surrounded by his family, in the wonderful care of the Palliative Home Care Team of Our Lady's Hospice, Harolds Cross. Bill, much loved husband of Audrey and dearly loved father of Ken, David and Alan. He will be greatly missed by them and also by his daughters-in-law, his grandchildren Jenny, Adam, Clive, Chris, Max, Oliver and "little Bill", his brother Cecil, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and by all his musical friends. He will also be sadly missed by his faithful listeners to "A World of Music". Bill will repose at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimamge Road today (Friday) from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Removal tomorrow (Saturday) at 2.15 p.m. to Mount Jerome Crematorium Chapel for a Humanist Service at 2.30 p.m. followed by cremation."The dying of the light".
