DEERY (Ann Marie) (née Wall) (originally of Dublin and late of Birr, Co. Offaly and Cloghjordan, Co. Tipperary) - on Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at Ahascragh, Co. Galway, after a prolonged illness, in the loving care of Nightingale Nursing Home. According to her own wishes she will be laid out in her own home in Cloghjordan for two days and nights, from the evening of Friday, July 29 until the morning of Sunday, July 31, during which time family and friends may visit and pay their last respects. Light refreshments will be served on the Saturday evening. There will be a funeral Mass at 12 Noon in St Brendan's Church, Birr on Sunday. Ann Marie's remains will be cremated according to her own wishes at Glasnevin Cemetery at 2.30 o'clock on Monday. The presence of all those who knew her will be welcomed by her sons Oisín and Macdara at both the wake and the cremation. At either event Ann Marie has specified that she would like no flowers.
