KANE Tess (née Lavin) (Lucan, Co. Dublin, Ballina, Co. Mayo and Boyle, Co. Roscommon) - On this, her first anniversary, we, her children Vivienne, Kathy, Aideen, Kenny, Leah, Esmond, Gillian and Adele and our families wish to express our gratitude to those who sympathised in our bereavement, for the Mass cards, letters of sympathy, floral tributes and donations to Age Action. We deeply appreciate the support and kindness of her many friends, neighbours and those she worked with in Age Action, Ballyowen Castle Community Centre, Ballyowen Castle Bridge Club, Liffey Sound FM, U3A, DCU, CBAI and Fine Gael. Sincere thanks to her neighbour Joe Walsh, Fr Donal Roche, Srs. Carmel, Paschal and Regina and all in Divine Mercy Parish and also to Prof. Ken O'Byrne for his constant care. The family are very grateful for the love, kindness and support shown by so many to Mum and to us during her illness. A very special thanks to her sister Kay, her husband Barry and her friend Carol Williams. Anniversary Mass will be celebrated in the Church of Divine Mercy, Lucan on Saturday June 9 at 6.30pm, all welcome. The family would also like to thank everybody who sympathised with us following the sudden death of our brother Ias, in Cork on April 3. The kindness shown to us by his friends and colleagues was greatly appreciated - he will be sadly missed.
