O'BRIEN (Browningston Park, Ballinlough and Washington Street, Cork) - April 2, 2009 at the Mater Hospital Dublin in her 96th year after a short illness, Brighid (née Higgins), beloved wife of the late Paddy O'Brien, late of I.U.D.W.C. Connolly Hall, much loved mother of Bill, Des and Kieran, mother-in-law to Celia and Cristín, a wonderful and generous gran to Kieran, Kate, Donnacha, Liam and Darragh; deeply regretted by her family, nieces and nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends. Reception prayers at 6.30 o'clock today Friday in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ballinlough.
