O'CONNOR (Dr. Rory), (Rosedale, Taylors Hill, Galway, and formerly, Rathmines, Dublin) (Died December 11, 2009) - Siobhan and children, Anna and David wish to thank most sincerely everyone for the sympathy extended to them on their recent sad bereavement. Thank you to our wonderful family, our outstanding neighbours and great friends. You were amazing in your wonderful kindness and support throughout. Our thanks to those who called to the house, those who travelled long distances, those who phoned, prayed, sent cards, wrote letters, sent food, floral tributes, or who thought of us in any way. Thank you to all those who attended the mass and burial. Sincere thanks to Fr. Gerry Jennings for a beautiful service and Fr. Bailey who attended the graveside. To Carol Duffy for arranging the music with Mark the organist, and singers and the choir from Salerno Secondary School. We would like to mention St. Patricks National School, Lombard Street where David attends and Salerno Secondary School where Anna attends, for providing Guards of Honour. Thanks to Cathriona O'Flaherty, Funeral Director and her team for her professionalism and kindness in arranging Rory's final journey and Jimmy Kilbane and team for arranging his final resting place. We value every kind thought, prayer, word and deed. Please accept this Acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. Months mind mass will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2010, in Christ the King church, Salthill, at 11.00 o 'c.
