philfunge@hotmail. com

Just heard the news of David's death last week. Sympathy to all the family. I'm an old friend from the 60's when David was a member of the newly formed Independent Artists Group in Dublin. They were such a vibrant and visionary crowd of young men. I also remember when his daughter Annabel was born. In fact I saw her in London as a beby with her parents.

God speed,David, you were mad as a hatter but so kind and unflinchingly honest.
