TAAFFE, John (late of Castleknock, Dublin and Galway) - April 9th, 2009 peacefully at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin loved and loving son of proud parents Tony and Mary and darling brother of Jane, Claire, Neil and Conor. Much missed by all of his aunts and uncles, colleagues and friends. Removal from Beaumont Hospital tomorrow (Tuesday) morning to arrive at The Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock with burial afterwards in Mulhuddart Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Beaumont Foundation. With special thanks to all in University College Hospital, Galway and Beaumont Hospital.

TAAFFE, John (First Anniversary) - On this the first anniversary of John's passing his Mum and Dad Mary and Tony, together with his sisters Jane and Claire and his brothers Neil and Conor would all like to express our sincere appreciation and acknowledge the consideration that was extended at that time to us. To the staff and Ambulance Service at U.C.H.G. Hospital in Galway and Beaumont Hospital, Dublin for the care they gave John, our thanks and gratitude. Our appreciation also to An Garda Siochana in both Galway and Blanchardstown, Dublin. Our special thanks to Fr Bruce Bradley S.J. for his support and to Fr Richard (Cap), Frs Kevin and Denis of Castleknock Parish Church, Fr Derek Cassidy S.J., Fr Leonard Moloney S.J. and finally Ms. Judith Gannon and the Mt. Sackville Choir, all of whom in their own special way contributed to the funeral Mass. Our final thanks to all who made contact with us, to all who wrote and sent Mass Cards, to all who came to be with us at John's funeral Mass and most especially to John's wonderful friends and work colleagues from Galway who were such a source of support and kindness to all of us at what was a difficult time. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions.
