KAVANAGH (Oliver) - November 3, 2007. Courageous and dignified to the end, in the loving care of his darling wife Pauline. Beloved father of Olive, Mark, Barbara and Greg. Deeply missed by grandchildren Laura, Jack, Roslyn, Saoirse and daughters-in-law Andrea and Heather. Beloved brother to Maureen, Paddy and Shay. Intellect and entertainer, his wit and humor, which never deserted him, will be missed by all who knew him. His quiet, gentle love touched all of us. Removal this (Tuesday) evening, November 6, 2007 at 5.30 p.m. to the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally. Funeral Mass on Wednesday November 7, 2007, at 10 a.m. at The Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
KAVANAGH (Eamon) - The wife, brother, brother-in law, sisters-in-law and family circle of the late Eamon Kavanagh wish to express their sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with them in their sad loss. Our heartfelt thanks to those who attended the removal, funeral Mass, Crematorium, especially those who travelled long distances. Our thanks to those who sent Mass Cards, sympathy cards, letters and made donations to the Chest, Heart and Stroke Association. We are grateful to the kind neighbours, friends and relatives who phoned or called at the house. Our gratitude to Dr. Conor McHugh and the staff of Springfield Medical Centre. We are especially indebted to Rita and Oliver, Gerry, Mags, Colm and Maureen. Our thanks to Monsignor Ambrose Macauley and Canon McCloskey for their support and words of comfort at the Church. We wish to express our thanks to the Medical team and Funeral Directors in Frejus and to the staff at the campsite. Many thanks to Rita and Alex for their uplifting music, to the officers and members of the I.N.T.O. and to the Circilo Italiano. We are grateful to Healy Brothers for the sensitive and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. To the many friends both here and abroad we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deep appreciation and sincere gratitude to you all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
KAVANAGH (Oliver) - A year has swiftly passed since Oliver died. Memories of love gentle and true will keep us all moving along. His smile still lights our inner rooms. Missing you every moment but grateful for your peace, wife Pauline, children, grandchildren and extended family.
