RICKETTS John Alwyn (Cabinteely, Co. Dublin and formerly of Maesteg, Wales) - July 6, 2011 (peacefully) at home, after a long illness borne with fortitude and courage, beloved and devoted husband of Eileen Mair (née Thomas), devoted father of Susan, Chris and Sarah, a loving and perfect Grandpa to Gareth, Catriona, Lindsay, David, Stephen, Mario and Tommy, much-loved brother of Sadie, brother-in-law of Bill and much-loved and admired by his son-in-law Bill; he will be deeply missed by his extended family and close friends. Funeral Service on Saturday, July 9 at 10 o'clock in St. Paul's Church, Silchester Road, Glenageary followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society. "Gorffwys mewn hedd"
