O'CONNELL (Don) (late of Ulverton Road, Dalkey) - June 18, 2007 after a long illness bravely borne in the loving care of the staff at St. Michael's Hospital, Dun Laoghaire, dearly beloved husband of Pat and loving dad to Owen, Simon, Mary and Richard, brother of Tom and the late Criona, father-in-law of Denise, Phil, Erica and the late Fiona, adored Don-Don to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Don "salt of the Earth" will be greatly missed by his wide circle of family and friends. Rest in peace. Removal this (Wednesday) evening to the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey arriving at 5 o'clock Funeral tomorrow Thursday after 10 o'clock Mass to Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust.
