O'CONNOR (Donald Peter) (Foxrock) (Died May 14, 2009) - As the First Anniversary of Donald's death approaches his wife Eileen, sons and daughter, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, sisters and brother would like to thank most sincerely those who supported and consoled them during their sad loss. We are most appreciative to all those who paid tribute to him by their attendance at his wake and funeral Mass, particularly those who travelled long distances, those who sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy; to those who called to our home and who provided much needed support at such a difficult time. To our neighbours, thank you. A particular debt of thanks and tribute is due to the doctors, nurses, patient care manager Ann Cavey and staff of St Vincent's University Hospital who showed such loving care to Donald and his family. A special thanks to Foxrock Golf Club, to both Donald and Eileen's friends there who have been such loyal and frequent visitors to our home since his passing. Also to the staff who provided refreshments after the funeral, thank you. To Fr Liam Lacey and the priests who officiated at Kilmacud Church, we offer thanks. Donald is predeceased by his wife Bernie who is remembered in this acknowledgement and is still sadly missed by her family. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.Donald, you will never be forgotten
by a heartbroken Eileen and your family.
