ABBOTT (Violet) (née Marshall) (9 Granby Terrace, Carlow) (Died December 24, 2008) - Violet's sons Edwin and John, daughter Florence, brother and sisters and extended family wish to thank most sincerely those who sympathised with them in their recent sad loss. To all who sent sympathy and Mass cards, floral tributes, called to the house, made phone calls, attended removal from her home, funeral Service and burial. A special word of thanks to Rev. Olive Henderson for officiating at both Services, Rev. Jono Pierce for his lovely eulogy at the funeral Service. Rev. O. Donohue and Rev. A. Minion for assisting, also to church wardens and organist, R. Healy and Son Funeral Directors and grave diggers. Thanks to Catherine, James and staff at Hillview Nursing Home for their wonderful care and also to the staff of St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny and especially thanks to Dean Lynas for attending her. Thanks to Pat, Marie and her many friends at Hillview Nursing Home. Special thanks to all who made a donation to the nursing home in memory of our late mother. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with our sincere appreciation and gratitude.
