McMANUS (Raheny) - May 3, 2008, peacefully in the gentle care of the staff of St Francis Hospice, Raheny, James Anthony (Tony), past President of Clontarf Cricket Club, and Vice President of United Arts Club, Upper Fitzwilliam Street. Only child of the late Patrick and Gertrude, beloved husband of Harrie (we met in a ladies choice at C.C.C. in 1957!), proud father of Gillian and Paul, adoring grandfather to Jack and Rosa, great friend to his son-in-law Cathal O'Connor and Paul's partner Alison Lalor. Deeply regretted by his loving family, also the Welsh clan, and all his relatives and friends. Rest in peace. Grateful thanks to the medical staff at Beaumont Hospital. Removal tomorrow (Tuesday) from St Francis Hospice to St Brigid's Church, Killester arriving at 5.30 o'clock Funeral on Wednesday after 10 o'clock Mass to St Fintan's Cemetery, Sutton. Donations if desired to St Francis Hospice.'Well done on the innings Tony'
