O'FAOLAIN (Nuala) (Died May 9, 2008) - All the family, and John, her partner, would sincerely like to thank all those who sympathised with them on the death of their dear, beloved Nuala. Most especially we would like to offer our deeply felt thanks to all the wonderful home care team of nurses, and the entire staff of the Blackrock Hospice, who looked after Nuala so expertly in Dublin. Also the local doctors, and nurses. And of course, Nuala's G.P. in Bartra, Doctor Kelleher. We thank the priests of Fairview parish, Dublin, and Mary, who was so helpful, also Father Enda McDonagh for his moving homily, and the wonderful musicians who travelled from afar. We would like to thank Nuala's colleagues and friends, from here and abroad, in the world of journalism, literature, T.V. and radio, who came to pay their last respects. The kind neighbours in Ringsend, who gave Nuala such a warm welcome and helped her each day in a quiet way, we would also like to thank very much. In Co. Clare, we thank Helen, for organising the Mass in Lahinch, the three priests, the Irish musicians and singer, and all Nuala's friends who attended there. To those who sent e-mails and messages to Nuala after her radio programme, we would like to say thank you so much. They were a great support and comfort to her. She wished to answer them all, but time was not on her side. All who sent Mass cards, letters, and messages, we say thank you too, and hope you will accept this acknowledgement as we cannot answer them all. Nuala's unique spirit will live on in us. Thank you all.
