ROONEY (Raheny and formerly of Belfast and CIE) - March 3, 2008 (peacefully), in the tender care of the doctors and nurses of St Laurence's Ward, Beaumont Hospital, John, beloved husband of Peggy and dear father of Joan, Margaret, Sheila, Patricia and Tom; deeply mourned by his loving family, will be sadly missed by his sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, his 8 beloved grandchildren, sister, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends. Rest in peace. Removal from his home this (Wednesday) evening to the Church of Our Lady, Mother of Divine Grace, Raheny arriving at 5 o'clock Funeral tomorrow (Thursday) after 11 o'clock Mass to Fingal Cemetery, Balgriffin. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Raheny Day Care Centre, St Joseph's Hospital, Springdale Road.
