HARRISON

HARRISON (W. J. Ross) (born in Ballyeaston, Ireland in 1925) - June 16, 2005, in Vancouver, where he has lived since 1957; he is survived by his wife, Hazel to whom he was married for 57 years, and good friend, Ken Leacock; also his daughter Linda (Vern Coulter) and son Stephen (Marlene), 6 grandchildren, Tasha (Tymen Dumont), Meghan, Liam, Michael, Declan and Caitlin and one great-granddaughter, Danica. Ross was educated at Campbell College, Belfast, and Trinity College, Dublin. He has two sisters in Ireland, Betty (Jimmie Wilton) and Edith (Frank Young) and numerous nieces and nephews. At his request there will be no service and flowers are gratefully declined. If wished, donations to First United Church, 320 E. Hastings, Vancouver, B.C. or the Union Gospel Mission, 616 East Cordova, Vancouver, B.C. may be made in Ross's memory.
