BUCKLEY Col. Mort. (Died July 1, 2008) - Eilish, Helen, Mary, Bernie, Mortimer and Michael would like to express their sincere appreciation to all those who sympathised with them, those who attended the removal, the Mass and the burial of their father Mort. We sincerely appreciate the attendance of An Taoiseach Mr. Brian Cowen and the Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Dermot Earley. We extend our thanks to Fr. Michael Scanlon P.P. who officiated at the removal Mass and burial and a special thanks to the choir. Our thanks to the Defence Forces with special thanks to all Mort's Army colleagues and friends. Particular thanks to the officers and men of the 32nd Battalion (Congo). We extend our gratitude for the services of the Western Command and for the provision of the bearer party. Our thanks to the Undertakers. Our sincere thanks to the neighbours, relations and friends and much appreciation of the guard of honour at the removal to the Church. Mass has been offered for all of your intentions.
