ROONEY, Roger Casement (late of Ballsbridge, who died on February 17, 2008) - On the anniversary of the passing of Rory, the Rooney family wish to thank most sincerely all who supported and sympathised with us on the loss of a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. We extend our deep appreciation to all those who attended his removal and funeral Mass, who sent Mass cards and or expressions of sympathy. A very special thank you to Jane, Bernadette, Naomi and all the staff at Mount Tabor Nursing Home, Sandymount who showed such kindness to Rory through the final years of his life. The family extend their appreciation to Fr. Angles, Superior of Saint Pius X House, Dun Laoghaire, Fr. Badinet for giving Roger his last rights and Fr. Bierer for saying the funeral Mass. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our genuine appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
