SAMPSON (Mary) (Templemore) (February 25, 2009) - As we reach the first anniversary of our Mum's death Denise and Irene, son-in-law John and grandchildren Sarah, Denis, Philip, Denise and Lucy would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them following the death of our much loved Mum and Nana. We wish to express our thanks and appreciation to the extended family, friends, neighbours and clergy for the wonderful support we received; to those who sent messages of sympathy, attended the funeral, sent Mass Cards and floral tributes. Our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful carers who were friends to Mum, and to Mary O'Connor and all the staff at Acorn Lodge for their excellent care in her last months. Thanks also to Fr Eugene Everard who captured Mum's essence in his homily; to the priests of Templemore parish and visiting priests who, together with the singing of Tom Baker, ensured a fitting celebration of her long life. Thank you to Eamon Grey, Funeral Director, and his team for their sensitive professionalism. As it is not possible to thank everyone personally we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
