DOHERTY (Sean) (Late of Cootehall, Boyle, Co. Roscommon) (Former Minister for Justice, T.D., Cathaoirleach of Seanad Eireann and County Councillor) (Died on June 7, 2005, R.I.P.) - Maura, Rachel, Cara, Leah and Evelyn, grandchildren Kate, Sean, Luke, James and J.J., the brothers and sisters and extended family of Sean would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us at the time of our sudden and sad loss. Our thanks and appreciation to all those who called to the house, attended the removal and funeral Mass, sent Mass Cards, messages of condolence, floral tributes and travelled long distances to be with us. Sincere thanks to the staff of Letterkenny General Hospital and to Bishop Christopher Jones, priests and friends who came there to be with Sean in his last hours. A special word of thanks to the Gardaí in the Donegal and Sligo divisions; to Superintendent Tom Commins, Gardaí Gerry Tiernan and all the Gardaí who assisted with the local arrangements. To our neighbours and all of our friends in the Parish of Ardcarne, St Michael's GAA Club and the wider community, your support and kindness will never be forgotten. Our profound thanks to Fr Brian Conlon PP, for his constant presence throughout those days. Our gratitude extends also to all the priests who concelebrated the removal service and funeral Mass. To all the stewards who assisted during these days, the undertaker Tommy Shivnan, the gravediggers who prepared Sean's final resting place, the Mass servers, those who provided music, we extend our appreciation. As it would be virtually impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deep gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. First Anniversary Mass in St Michael's Church, Cootehall on Friday evening, June 9th at 7 o'clock
