GAYNOR (Cork and Thurles) - June 2, 2006, gently and peacefully, at the Cork University Hospital, Dr Christopher Gaynor (late of Department of Ancient Classics, U.C.C.), Glen Road, Ballygarvan and formerly Mitchel Street, Thurles, beloved husband of Olivia (née Quinlan) and cherished father of Fergal, Noelle, Leon, Christine and loving grandfather of Elspeth; deeply mourned by his loving wife, sons, daughters, sister Noreen, brothers Willie, Tom, Noel and John-Joe, granddaughter, son-in-law Steven, relatives, colleagues, friends and generations of students. Rest in peace. Reposing at Sullivans Funeral Home, Turners Cross. Removal this (Monday) evening at 6 o'clock to the Church of the Incarnation, Frankfield, Grange. Reqiuem Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11 o'clock Funeral afterwards to St Patrick's Cemetery, Thurles arriving at 2.30 o'clock approx.
