SMITH (née Burfield) (Castlegregory, Co. Kerry) - All Saints Eve, October 31, 2005, in her 89th year, Elizabeth (Eilís McGowan), beloved widow of Canon Tom (peacefully), following a protracted struggle, in the presence of family members and in the kind care of the Dominican Sisters, Matron Marie and Staff of Our Lady of Fatima Home, Tralee. Deply loved, admired and sadly missed by her sons Patrick, Declan and Peter, Brenda, Heather and Mary, her seven grandchildren, their spouses, her eleven great grandchildren, the wider family and friends. Special thanks to her dear friends and neighbours, particularly Bob and Barbara, Catherine, Eileen and all the devoted team of carers. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) at 4 o'clock from the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee to Killiney Church, Castlegregory arriving at 5 o'clock Service of Thanksgiving for Elizabeth on Friday at 2.30 o'clock Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.
