FRIEL (Acknowledgement of Memorial Mass for the late John Friel in Ballsbridge College, Dublin) - I, Annmarie Friel on my own behalf, my children's and John's immediate family wish to express my heartfelt and profound gratitude to all John's colleagues, pupils and staff (past and present) who organised with such dedication the celebration of John's life with the lovely Memorial Mass which touched myself and my family so deeply. The music and many personal aspects at this Mass were so uplifting and heartwarming that it is a memory I will proudly cherish. I was indeed overwhelmed by the high esteem in which John was held by all his friends at the college. My family and I feel very honoured and humbled by this kind gesture and expression of sympathy. Our gratitude also to the celebrant Fr P. Finn P.P. for his lovely Mass and also the soloist Una Healy for her enchanting music which exuded a warmth and glow of tranquillity to everyone present. The Camilla shrub presented to me will take pride of place in our garden which John loved and spent many happy hours.Thank you most sincerely,
