KILFEATHER Sean (Late of Sligo and Dublin) - The brothers, sisters and extended family of the late Sean Kilfeather wish to thank all those who sympathised with them on his recent death. Thank you to all who phoned, sent Mass Cards, messages of sympathy and floral tributes, those who attended the funeral home and the cremation service at Mount Jerome and also those who attended the funeral Mass and interment in Sligo. A special thank you to all his friends and colleagues from the Irish Times, RTE, Sligo Champion and members of the NUJ who formed the guard of honour. A word of thanks also to Comdt Michael Treacy aide-de-campe to An Taoiseach, representatives from the Irish Amateur Boxing Association, the GAA and all who travelled to be with us in Dublin and Sligo. To Fr. Joe Kennedy, Fr. Michael Devine and Fr. Pat O'Brien who officiated in Dublin and also Fr. Christopher Mc Crann and Fr. Eugene Bree who celebrated the funeral Mass in Sligo, thank you all for your kind and thoughtful words of comfort. Thanks also to Mairead Jennings (organist), Tommie Bree (soloist) for their meaningful music and singing, Michael Joe Kelly (sacristan) for all his help, the undertaker Rom Massey and Son, Dublin for the caring manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and also the gravedigger who prepared his final resting place. To the doctors, nurses and staff of St James Hospital, Dublin who looked after Sean in his final months, thank you. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our deep gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
