MILEY (nèe McElroy) Joan (formerly of the National Symphony Orchestra and Ailesbury Nursing home, Sandymount) - January 4, 2008, (peacefully) at St. Vincent's Hospital, Elm Park. Our thanks to all the hospital staff and also to the staff of Ailesbury Nursing Home for their loving care and kindness. Beloved mother of Ingrid, David and Una and much loved sister of Maureen (de Lyon) and Anne (Eeles). A wonderful Granny Mug to Simon, Lucy, Thirza, Amy and Hugo and a loving mother-in-law to Kevin and Kieran. Deeply regretted by all her family and many friends. May she rest in peace. Removal this (Monday) evening from St. Vincent's Hospital Mortuary to the Church of The Star of The Sea, Sandymount, arriving at 5.30 o'clock Funeral tomorrow (Tuesday) after 10 o'clock Mass to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny, Dublin 5.
