O'BRIEN (Emmet Street, Birr, Co. Offaly) - November 17, 2006, in her 96th year, (peacefully) in the exceptional care of all at Birr Nursing Unit, surrounded by her loving family, Annie, pre-deceased by her beloved husband Paddy, daughter Elizabeth and sister Sr Benedict; deeply regretted by her loving sons Paddy and John, daughters Mary (Davis), Anne (Smyth), Kay and Jo (O'Brien-Sherry), sons-in-law Mike and Larry, daughter-in-law Colette, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Sr Anne Patrice (U.S.A.), relatives and dear friend Maureen. Rest in peace. Reposing at Boyd's Funeral Home, Birr today (Saturday) with removal to St Brendan's Church, Birr arriving at 6 o'clock Requiem Mass tomorrow (Sunday) at 12 o'clock followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery.
