CLIFFORD (Douglas, Cork) - January 11, 2011 (unexpectedly) at the Cork University Hospital Dr. Niamh Long (Endsleigh, Douglas) best friend and devoted wife of Eoin and cherished mother of Laoise, Orla and Emer. Sadly missed by her loving husband, children, father Gerald, mother Maura, brothers Ciarán and Bryan, sister Richel, Eimear and Gráinne, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, parents-in-law John and Aideen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and a large circle of friends. Niamh will be reposing at her childhood home at Caherlag, Glounthaune (beside Erin's Own GAA Club) this (Wednesday) evening from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Reception into the Sacred Heart Church, Glounthaune tomorrow (Thursday) at 11.45am for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Funeral afterwards to St Michael's Cemetery, Blackrock. "Your love was like the dawn,
brightening over our lives"

<p>Tribute to a great friend and human being</p> <p>I wish to extend my deepest condolences to the family of dr niamh long to whom i owe a lot as she stood by me in a very difficult time of my life, i knew her for very short period in her professional capacity but found her to be a exceptional person and im deeply saddened by her untimely departure, she would always be in my prayers.May she rest in peace.</p>
