McPHILLIPS, Dr. Brian (February 27, 1918 - November 19, 2008) - Passed away in Victoria, B.C. after a brief illness. Originally from Ireland, he captained the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Rugby team. In 1946, he became Deputy Medical Officer for the United Nations Relief Organization for the US zone of post-war Germany and later, Chief of the Radiology Dept of St Catharine's General Hospital, Port Dalhousie for 30 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Anne in 1995. Brian will be sadly missed by his daughter Maureen (Jim) of Victoria, grandchildren Mariel and Darcy, by his son Michael (Janesse) of King City, grandchildren Sarah and Liam, by relatives in Ireland. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., November 25, at St Vincent de Paul Church, Niagara on the Lake, Canada.
