CARROLL (Cabinteely, Dublin and formerly of Lugnagun, Blessington, Co. Wicklow) - January 15, 2007, peacefully at his home, in the loving care of his family, following an illness borne with great courage and dignity. John (Sean), Retired Garda Sergeant (Dún Laoghaire) and late of the Courts Service. Dearly loved husband of Gaye (née Rooney) and devoted father of Suzanne, Eoin, Jennifer and Julie. He will be sadly missed by his family, sisters Teresa and Sheila, brother Noel, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunt, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home. Removal this evening (Wednesday) to St Brigid's Church, Cabinteely, arriving at 6 p.m. Funeral tomorrow (Thursday) after 10 a.m. Mass to Burgage Cemetery, Blessington. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Friends of St Luke's Hospital, Rathgar."May he rest in peace".
