MAHER - The wife Mary, daughters Mary, Ann and Carmel, son Paul and extended family of the late James (Jim) Maher, late of Ballinacurra Gardens, Limerick, who died on December 14, 2009, would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathized with us on our sad loss, to our very kind neighbours and friends, to Dr Jim Fehilly and staff, staff of Haematology Unit and Ward 4B of Limerick Regional Hospital; to Jim's former work colleagues of FAS and ANCO who travelled distances, Fr. Tom Mangan, Fr. Phonsie Cullinan and Fr. Michael Wall, parish clerk Una McCarthy, organist Brendan Frawley, to John Thompson and staff Funeral Directors, to the gravediggers who prepared Jim's final resting place; to all those who sent Mass Cards and floral tributes, Liz O'Sullivan, Palliative Care and all Palliative Care staff. As it would be impossible to thank everyone in person, we trust you will accept this acknowledgement as a token of appreciation. Jim's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday January 9 at 7 p.m. in St Joseph's Church.Softly in the morning,
you heard a gentle call,
you took the hand God offered you,
And quietly left us all.
