QUINN Pat (Ballinagh, Co. Cavan and Killybegs, Co. Donegal). March 16, 2011. Pat's wife, Anne and family, along with his sister Marie Thornton wish to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with us on Pat's death, all who called to our home, attended the funeral, sent Mass cards and other messages of sympathy, especially our relatives, colleagues and friends who travelled long distances to be with us. We particularly wish to thank our friends and neighbours in Donegal who gave Pat such a warm welcome home to Killybegs. We offer a sincere thank you to Fr. Seamus Gallagher who received the remains into St. Mary's Church and who concelebrated the funeral Mass. We especially want to thank Mons. Raymond Murrin for being with us. His kind words helped to make the funeral Mass a celebration of Pat's life. We particularly want to thank our wonderful neighbours and friends as well as Pat's former colleagues in the ESB who sustained us by their prayers and kindness during Pat's illness and at the time of his death. A special thank you to Mons. M. Cooke, Fr. P. McPartland and Fr. E. Clarke for their spiritual support to all of us. A sincere thank you to the Palliative Care Team, the Oncology Unit at Cavan General Hospital and the staff and volunteers of St. Christopher's Hospice for their wonderful care. To Mr. W. Foster and Mr. A. Cronin a heartfelt thank you for taking care of the funeral arrangements so sensitively. May God bless you all. Mass has been offered for your intentions.
