MAHER (Frances) (Died December 14, 2007) - Frances' husband, Bill, daughters, Ann, Mary, Patricia and Rita, daughter in law, Mary, sister, May and brothers, Lot, Eddie and Seán wish to thank most sincerely our relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised with us on our sad loss, attended the removal and funeral Mass, for the cards and letters of sympathy, flowers, kind telephone and personal calls. A special word of thanks to Fr. Noel Maher, P.P Aghaboe, and to the priests who concelebrated the Mass and lead the final prayers for Frances. Our thanks to the altar servers and choir of Clough church and the guard of honour provided by Clough I.C.A and to the Gardaí and stewards for their assistance with the funeral cortege. Our thanks also to the gravediggers and Jimmy Guilfoyle, funeral undertaker, for their assistance. We appreciate our neighbours, friends and relatives for the support and friendship extended to Frances, particularly throughout her illness. We wish to thank Dr. John Kennedy and the doctors, nurses and staff of St James' Hospital for their dedicated care of Frances. Our thanks also to the doctors and staff of Mountrath Health Centre, especially Dr. Ailish Phelan, the Public Health nurses, the Palliative Care nurse, Joan Kirwan, home carer, the Irish Cancer Society and the Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
