RODGERS, Fr. Denis G., C.S.Sp. - October 6, 2010, peacefully, in the loving care of the Matron and staff of Marian House Nursing Home, Kimmage Manor, Dublin 12, late of Dun Laoghaire, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea and Blackrock College, Dublin, pre-deceased by his sister Maureen, his brothers Paul and Peter; deeply regretted by his Spiritan Confreres, his sister Peggy, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Mass of Christian Burial today (Saturday, October 9) at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Spirit, Kimmage Manor followed by interment in the Spiritan Plot, Dardistown Cemetery.

<p>Fr Denis Rodgers</p> <p>We only heard today of Fr Denis'death and I am really sorry we missed his funeral.When we were growing up he was a big part of our lives and I always will remember his kindness.He had a kind word and a joke for everyone.When we went for walks he always had Foxes glacier mints in his pocket!He as a wonderful person and will surely have gone straight to heaven.</p>
