MATTHEWS (Ballinagore and Clonskeagh) - The family of the late Robert (Bob) Matthews would like to acknowledge the kind expressions of sympathy on the recent loss of Bob. Edgar, Jean, Daphne, David and the family wish to express a sincere thank you to all those who attended the Thanksgiving Service, who travelled long distances to do so, sent floral tributes, cards, letters of tribute and notes of encouragement during this difficult time. Bob is now at home with the Lord whom he loved and where he longed to be. We would especially like to thank the staff in St Joseph's Ward, Loughlinstown Hospital, for their loving care and support during Bob's hospitalisation and all those who visited or contacted him over those final weeks. Sincere thanks also to Dun Laoghaire Evangelical Church for their care, prayers and support and particularly for the Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Bob, which so blessed, comforted and uplifted us and all who attended.
