WALSH (Philomena) (née Finlay) (Emo Court, Co. Laois and formerly of Morrison Terrace., Ballina, Co. Mayo) - Philomena's sisters, Clare Doherty and Rona Stairs, her nephew and nieces wish to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. To those who called, attended the removal, Mass and burial services, and those who sent letters of sympathy and Mass cards. Our deepest thanks and gratitude to her friends Ray Murphy and his family, Mary Bastick and Esther Dunne for all their help to Philomena and their support to us following her death. To her friend Ann O'Byrne for arranging the lovely choir and music for her Mass. To the I.C.A. of Emo for their bouquets and to all who brought and sent floral tributes. To Whelans of Portarlington for their help and assistance to Philomena. Our thanks also to Dr. White and to the O.P.W. staff at Emo Court, and Dublin, and to her friends at Waterfront Apartments., for their care and sympathy. Thanks to Father Walsh, Fr. Dooley and Fr. O'Byrne for officiating at Philomena's funeral and burial services and for assisting us in our grief. A special word of thanks to John Maher, funeral undertaker, for all his help and kindness to us in Philomena's funeral and burial arrangements. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere gratitude to all of Philomena's friends and to those whose lives she touched. The Holy Sacrifice for the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
