GERAGHTY (Dr Patrick J.) (Kilkerrin Road, Glenamaddy, Co. Galway) (died on December 5, 2004) - Nuala, Darragh, Finola, family and extended family wish to thank most sincerely those who sympathised with them on the death of Pat. We thank those who visited our home, attended the Removal and Mass, especially those who travelled long distances, and to those who sent Mass Cards, Mass Enrolments, messages of condolence and floral tributes. A special word of thanks to Canon Michael Goaley P.P., Canon Sean Blake P.P., Fr Paddy Gilligan P.P., Fr Des Walsh P.P. and the late Fr Sean Higgins for their comforting support and prayers. Many thanks to the Choir, Organist, Readers, Orators, Altar Servers, Sacristan, Ushers, Guards of Honour and Civil Defence. Also thanks to Divillly's Funeral Directors, the gravediggers and to all those who helped at the family home during the days of the funeral. We especially thank all his patients and the elderly of the area who made huge efforts to attend the Funeral Mass. We thank the General Practitioners from the surrounding districts and his medical colleagues for their support. Also many thanks to the staff of Arus Bhride and the Day Care Centre. Thanks to the various local organisations for remembering his work over the years. We appreciate the very kind tributes that were paid to Pat in the press and radio stations. Thanks to his many friends in the Equestrian world who travelled to pay their respects. Our thanks to Dr Verona Hegarty, the medical and the nursing staff at the Galway Clinic for the very attentive care provided. Finally we sincerely thank all our neighbours and friends who helped in every possible way at our sad time. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our grateful appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. An Anniversary Mass will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at 10 o'clock in St Patrick's Church, Glenamaddy.
