STOKES, Valentine Patric

STOKES Valentine Patricia - Valentine's daughters and sons, extended family and friends, will celebrate her First Anniversary (February 24th) and her 90th birthday (March 8th) on Mother's Day, Sunday 14th March, when she will be remembered at 12 noon Mass in the Church of the Holy Cross, Dundrum. Her family express gratitude for the kindness shown to Valentine in life and in death by Fr. Kieran McDermott PP and Fr. Peter Healy. Special thanks to her close friends Ann Jevens, Emer Holden and her walking companion Eva Moore, and to her grand-daughter Sian who was with her when she passed into the hereafter. Thanks also to her kind neighbours in Landscape Avenue, her friends in Churchtown, Dundrum, Ballinasloe, Loughrea and the Burren, and to all those who attended at the house, the removal and funeral Mass, who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and letters, and who still regularly mention her in conversation. She inspired affection. A very special woman, Valentine is joyfully remembered by all of her family.
