O'CONNOR (Dr Raymond Joseph) (Professor of Wildlife Ecology) - September 29, 2005, after an illness borne with great dignity, at home in Greenvillle, North Carolina, U.S.A., in the presence of his beloved wife Deirdre (Magean), son Eoin and brother John; deeply regretted by Deirdre, Eoin, sister Geraldine (Wilson), brother John, father-in-law Jim (Magean) (Belfast), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and colleagues and many friends around the world. Funeral Mass will take place in Greenville at St Gabriel's Catholic Church. Raymond's ashes will be interred in Ireland at a later date. Donations, if desired, to Cancer Research, Irish Cancer Society, 43/45 Northumberland Road, Dublin 4.Rest in peace.
