DUDLEY Edward John (Ned) (The Poplars, Dovea, Thurles, died May 25, 2008) - Ned's wife Miriam and all the family wish to express their sincere appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on our very sad loss. To those who called to his home, telephoned or sent cards and flowers and attended the removal to St Mary's Church, Templemore and burial at Kilfithmone. Our special thanks to our wonderful neighbours who dug and covered Ned's grave and to our friends, relatives, parishioners and Church Wardens who helped to comfort us in so many ways. We thank the many people who travelled many miles to be with us - to the members of Templemore Pitch and Putt Club and the members of the Irish Hereford Breed Society who formed the guards of honour. Our many thanks to Rev. Peter Cole Baker, Archdeacon John Murray, Dean Phillip Knowles, Rev. Lesley Robinson, Charles Wallace, Adrian Hewetson and Monsignor Maurice Dooley who all wrote and to Canon Tom Sherlock for his very kind address and our thanks to the excellent readers. Our thanks to Dr. O'Carroll, Dr Quillinan and staff at Templetuohy and to Dr. Kellett and nurses in Nenagh Hospital. Also to Anne, words cannot express our appreciation of her kindness and care. Thank you to the Williams family, whose dear mother played the organ music but sadly, has since died. To Eamon Grey and staff, Funeral Directors, for his professionalism and help to us in every way, our many thanks. To Donal Younge and Rose for catering after Ned's funeral and to Templemore Arms Hotel for catering after the removal, our thanks. We sincerely thank the great number of people who donated so very generously to The Cardiac Surgical Foundation in Ned's memory. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our grateful appreciation.
