HOUGH (Knockroe, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon, formerly of Eyrecourt, Co. Galway and Trim, Co. Meath) - September 27, 2007 (peacefully), after a long illness bravely borne with a wonderful spirit of dignity and good humour, in the devoted care of his wife Gretta (née Garvey) and his daughters Valerie and Jennifer, at his home, Cyril; deeply mourned by his devoted family, sisters Katherine Rohan (Galway), Eileen Hoare (London), Dorene (Trim) and brother Hilary (Dublin), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at his residence until 1 o'clock today (Saturday) with removal to St Patrick's Church, Castlerea for Mass at 2 o'clock followed by burial in Ballintubber Cemetery. Rest in peace. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Mayo/Roscommon Hospice.
