O'BRIEN (Catherine) (née Harkness) (Late of Clontarf and Blackrock) - The family of the late Catherine (Nanny), Brenda, Irene, Edmund, Rose and Victor, on this the First Anniversary of her death, want to thank most sincerely all those who attended her removal, funeral Mass or burial, or sympathised with us in our enormous loss. Thank you for your kind words, beautiful floral tributes, letters and Mass cards. A special word of thanks to those who visited Catherine in hospital and at home in Blackrock. We also wish to thank the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff of St Vincent's Private Hospital who showed such kindness to Nanny, you all earned a special place in her affections. Thanks to Mons. Devine and Fr Deegan of Clontarf for the lovely funeral Mass and Fr O'Brien of Brittas Bay who attended Nanny's burial in her much loved Brittas Bay. Nanny's First Anniversary Mass will be held in Star of the Sea Church, Brittas Bay on Saturday December 3, at 9.30 o'clock The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Let her love of life over 91 years be an inspiration to us all and remember always her happy smile.
