O' DONOVAN Diarmuid (Terenure, Dublin 6. Died January 20, 2007) - On the first anniversary of Diarmuid's death, Diarmuid's wife Sara and his sons Derry, Donough and David, his sister, brothers and family members, would like to thank most sincerely all those people who sympathised and supported them at the time of Diarmuid's death. The generosity, kindness and compassion shown to us at that time was very comforting and very much appreciated. Our sincere thanks to all who attended the removal and the Mass, particularly those who travelled long distances. Special thanks go to Dr. Owen Smith and Dr. Brendan Foley and the staff of St. James's Hospital for their care of Diarmuid over the years. We thank Fr. Andrew Nugent, Fr. Paul Lavelle, Fr. John Flavin and all of the other priests who concelebrated the funeral Mass. Our thanks are also due to Fanagans Funeral Directors for a most sensitive and professional service. We would like to thank the Vard Sisters for their wonderful singing. We gratefully acknowledge the assistance of the Judiciary and staff of the Court Services, the members of An Garda Siochána and the members of Grange Golf Club. The family wish to thank all of those who sent sympathy cards, Mass cards, letters and messages. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as an acknowledgement of our sincere gratitude to you all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
