McCARTHY (Dublin) - April 26, 2006, Fr Derry, ex. Mater Dei and U.C.D. (peacefully at his residence), much loved son of the late Cal and Peg McCarthy, Blackheath Park, Clontarf; he will be greatly missed by his loving family, brothers John, Fr Tommy and Cathal, sister Áine, brother-in-law Chris Threadgold, sisters-in-law Ursula and Colette, nieces, nephew, many friends, relations and fellow priests. May he rest in peace. Removal from Staffords Funeral Home, North Strand this (Friday) evening at 5.20 o'clock to St Laurence O'Toole Church, Seville Place arriving at 5.30 o'clock Funeral tomorrow (Saturday) after 11 o'clock Mass to St Fintan's Cemetery, Sutton.
