JACKSON Samuel (Sam) died May 25, 2007 - Olive, Clive, Heather and the extended family would like to thank relatives, terrific neighbours and all the many, many friends who travelled so far to be with us at the time of Sam's passing. Your support was greatly appreciated. To know so many people felt so warmly about Sam comforted us greatly. A very special thank you to all who participated in Sam's removal and funeral Service especially our organist John Rowden, musician David Hayes, Bishop B Hannon, Ven. P. Laurence, Canon S. Baird, Canon T. Haskins, Rev. C. Baker and Rev. A Shine, who made it a very moving celebration. We are most grateful to our Rector, the Rev. Derek Sargent for his kindness and continuing support. Our thanks to Lanigans Undertakers especially Val for his personal attention. We are very appreciative of the many generous donations given to the Simon Community which was so dear to Sam's heart, countless cards, letters, phone calls received and callers who still to this day give the family great help in these lonely times. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as an acknowledgement of our sincere thanks to all. A tree will be planted in Sam's memory after the 10.30 o'clock Service in the Church of St. John the Baptist, Seafield Road on Sunday November 4, 2007.
