SMYTH (Bandon) - March 13, 2009, at Cork University Hospital, William J. Smyth (Billy), treasured husband and best friend of Valerie (née Good), "Greenhills" Spring Lane, and precious Dad to Ashley, Nicola, Jonathan, Giles, Andrea and the late Colin, devoted Papa of Jason, Emily, Ethan, Joshua, Ross, Karl, Amy, Conor, and dear brother of the late George and Joy. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, sons-in-law David and Gavin, daughters-in-law Gillian and Rhonda, also Sarah-Jane, grandchildren, brothers Aubrey, Gordon and Norman, sisters Betty, Hazel, Eunice and Persis, mother-in-law Marian Good, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. A Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Billy will be held at Westside Baptist Church, Old Chapel, Bandon today (Monday) at 4.30pm.
