FITZGERALD (Sandycove, Co. Dublin) - September 14, 2011 (unexpectedly) at home, Dr Desmond, L.D.S (R.C.S.I.), former President of the Dental Benevolent Society, beloved husband of Colette, loving father of Desmond, Susan, Patricia and Gerald. Des will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, son-in-law Nick, daughter-in-law Emily, grandchildren Christopher, Niamh, Myles and Matthew, brother Ben, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Removal today (Friday) from Quinn's of Glasthule to St Joseph's Church, Glasthule arriving at 5 o'clock Funeral tomorrow (Saturday) after 10 o'clock Mass to Shanganagh Cemetery.
